I'd bet the actual weights are closer than 50 lbs.

According to the specs (might need to weigh them to be exact)
The xr400 curb weight is 256lbs and the sm610 is 346lbs. Of course I have an oversized tank (holds about a gallon more of gas) so it weighs about 90 more than mine stock an subtract however much that extra gallon is and it's more than 50. Kinda wish I didn't do the math lol sounds heavier now :(

I just picked up my (new-to-me) 2006 TE610, also in TN. Rode it back through the Smokies, the Dragon, Cherohala and a bunch of forest service roads along the way back to MS. You won't regret getting this bike! I can't wait to get back out there again. :D

Love that ride through there. can't wait to get back.
You better go before someone else decides to pick it up....

You change the plug? Do like Switch said, make damn sure you blow all the dirt out from around that plug before you pull it out. XR's hold about half an acre of real estate in that pocket. lol

Y'all remember to be thinking of and keeping DQ in your prayers that his foot surgery goes without a hitch today.
