I'm only partially joking.
My name is Backwoods, and I have insomnia...
Just got home from my Dan Aykroyd event. I'm a little wired out right now and trying to wind down. I'm a good event coordinator but I wasn't ready for this. We estimate 1,200 people came in today from 10:45-2:30 to see Dan. It went well and I'm very thankful for all the support that the people in Mississippi showed Dan. Thanks to Carabnsol for coming out and being patient with us.
I thought it went really smooth from my vantage point. I really enjoyed the whole event. I had a great time talking with folks in line and getting to meet Dan was the BEST! Good job Perry!!
Thank you. It's good to get an "outside" perspective if you know what I mean.
I really wish I could have made it
That's awesome man, glad things went well for you. I wish I could've made it but I had a huge job today.
yeah hate I missed it but I had to work.. I should say we, a coworker wanted to come down there as well.
Did the video / DVD work okay?
Yes and thank you Edwin! Can't keep up with all the folks I should be thanking for their help. We ran it for three days. It worked great!
ok gents I have been approved for much more then what a new CB500X would be from Honda. but I will not buy one until I sell of a few things for a down payment. if you know anyone that would be interested in the little NX125 I have please get them in contact with me.
Who is ready for a snow ride?
According to what I see on the BookFace, Snowmaggedon 2014 is bearing down on MS. The Guv has declared a state of emergency 24 hours before the first flake, bet there is already a run on bread and water at the stores, long lines for gas, etc....
Of course I'm up in NC in the Rubicon so this should be fun!!!
and here me and my dad are talking about selling our CJ5. if it snows i will be out in it at some point.
and my daughter just headed to school and said its snowing here.
No snow here thankfully. A 2600 lb car with summer tires would not be much fun. Or it would be a LOT of fun, depending on how you look at it.
Snowing in Starkville... well dusting.....
Yep. This |.| close to being iffy driving, especially on campus. But oh well, maybe next time we'll get a snow day.
If it hits here tonight like they say, I may need to head over to RDV / BRP territory in the Jeep before heading home.
