Spent yesterday driving home from a service call in Nashville, hating Cindy the whole way, got to Birmingham right as the mini tornadoes were spinning up and I could here the sirens going off from the interstate, so I ducked into Cycle Gear to let that band pass by and this box jumped into the car....

I love when a new box "jumps" into my car! But then I have to hurry up and get them dirty so when the wife asks if they are new I can be all "No way! I been had those!" Not sure if she is buying it...

Small metal cycle signs compliments of the old Kickstand decor... and much more to go up as I find time.

Hate to disappoint the ADV types here but I decided to buy a rocket as my next road bike instead. I've always been found of these bikes, speed, big motor, comfort it just seems to push all my buttons currently.

Scored this very low mileage one owner 2012 unit off eBay a week ago down in S AL. Lots of extra things on it I didn't like, Corbin seat, tall cee Bailey windscreen, Kawasaki top trunk and bar risers. All now removed. Tried to like the Corbin just couldn't like it, not enough ass on me to like it. I'll still use the top case trunk from time to time just not daily. Hate those things.

It is very fast between point A and B. My biggest complaint with the bike is the linked braking, it's terrible! Kawasaki definetly did t use Yamaha's system which worked great.

I like it. I'd own one if I could fit comfortable on them. They didn't design them for 6'5", 300lb people.

They make peg lowering kits and I have some bar risers I took off this one and as of today I still have that bad ass big boy Corbin seat. I know a guy from pearl who rides one and he's a big tall guy but has peg lowering on his. It's a bad ass bike for eating highway miles on. I'm about to bust loose and go for a long ride on mine.

Were you at Nuxobee? Is there anything worth checking out up there?

This was my first ride in the Refuge and I was riding sweeper and not paying attention. We passed a few gravel roads but I cannot speak to the adventure worthiness of them.

    Hi guys-n-gals,

I just moved to Madison County from the Netherlands and am curious if there's any decent riding around here, paved or unpaved.
While waiting for my Yamaha XTZ750 Super Ténéré to arrive (and getting it plated) I have access to a 2008 Yamaha FZ6 (if my wife doesn't need it).

    Cheers.

    Ninke.

Welcome, Ninke! Depends on what you consider "decent"... haha. There are decent backroads in SW Mississippi (hills and curves) and a few slightly curvy roads around metro Jackson. There are gravel roads in Bienville NF, Homochitto NF, Desoto NF and such places that are decent.

Old K60 successfully divorced from the wheel. My first time levering a tire off. Pretty much an all out fight for close to an hour! Hope that gets easier with experience! Now for the tubeless conversion and on with the new Mitas E07.

Hello Everyone, Long time no type... I hope everyone is doing well.
I am about to have a bike for sale, is this where I should post it up for local first dibs?
    Thanks!

Knowing how much everyone like to post photos here, I thought I'd see if anyone in Mississippi group might be interested in a couple of my digital cameras I have for sale. I have 2 Nikon D7000s, both with w/MB-D11 grips which can hold either AA'a or another EN-EL15 battery. One has a little over 37K shutter count and the other is a bit over 42k releases. Cosmetically they have some wear on the edges and one has a small scratch on the rear preview screen, but I have shot with both recently and they're working as they should. Each comes with a battery for the camera, but there is only one battery charger, so first one to sell gets it. I'm asking $350 each, or $650 for both. PM me.
