More from Bill..... He was really busy with that camera.
Fine Bitch.........I'm not getting drunk, I'm getting awesome!!
Jack, What camera was Bill using? I like the photos. I know it is not Jack proof :huh but it seems to have held up pretty good.
The more recent pics have more familiar terrain-
Sounds like a good group- priceless
Really mediocre pictures. Makes me cry when I see what I missed
It is a Cannon point and shoot, I have pinged him for the exact model. He also uses a mac for processing the panoramas. I'll let you know.
Thanks for stopping by Signal. I have been lurking/enjoying your thread for a long time.
Priceless, indeed!! We had a blast and basically the same expectations. These guys are the best, and I would travel anywhere with them
I really hate that for you lakota! In a BIG way.
There were several times that I thought of you during the ride after your incident. The extra caution I took PAID OFF BIGTIME.
At least i get to pay you back for all the times I rode vicariously through your reports.
Are you considering another attempt? I hope you are!!
it is still on the list but has slipped behind either Panama or James Bay for next year
OHHHHHH Panama!! COOL!!!
"Camera is a Canon Powershot SD960IS Digital Elph 12.1 Mega Pixel. It was the first "wide angle" (28MM) pocket camera ... came out in early 2010. Better models avail now (of course).
The panoramic pictures are multiple pictures that I stitched together with software (STOIK PanoramaMaker). All done on a Mac."
They really are eye candy/
Thanks Jack, I don't care what the clown says about you. You are alright in my book. :huh
Maybe that is the excuse I need to get another Mac!
El Tigre the Merciless in his natural environment.
BWDR is AWESOME!
Wild Wonderful!!! Fo Sho...
Good stuff, Jack!!
Sucks you won't be making it down here this year, though...
We're pretty bummed about it too..... Next attempt will be Spring break end of March 13.
Just a handful of shots left from my ride home from Montana.....
This is Green Bay from the Michigan shoreline.
There were some really nice looking beach areas along HWY 2 in the UPM, unfortunately I didn't have good weather while riding through there so I didn't have my camera out much.
I was trying to get the turquoise color of the water to no avail.... this is the last shot the camera took as I crossed the bridge...... even though I pushed the button 20 more times!!!!:ddog
I'm still gonna post some more photos from the trip, but these are probably the last of my shots.
Here are the last of Bill's photos......
Yeh.. it's over. Shit.
Although, the CDR ride report is done,,,,,,,
I have thousands of photos from the past several years, and I am going to continue to take more.
Thanks for riding along with me!
A long list of thank-yous is up next.
