I love the Jets because of what they did to the Atlanta fans, allowing a 4th quarter comeback, only to snatch their joy away at the end. An emotional rollercoaster that crashes in a smoking heap at the end of the ride. God I love watching a whole stadium go through that.

Not just that, it was a fun game to watch. And to see Geno Smith play that way was pretty cool. He was considered the rookie who was ready by many, and I think he just may be. I like Rex Ryan, he is good for football. He has taken a bit of beat down the last couple years...I look forward to his bluster coming back to the surface. He makes it fun and I have missed it. Couple more games like that and he will be in full swagger again.

Has heavyweight boxing been exciting since Ali retired? Tennis since McEnroe retired? Those big personalities just make things fun to watch. Whether you hate it or like it, it makes it entertaining.

Yeah i like Rex too, much better when they are winning of course. The media eggs him on looking for a soundbite half the time.

I became a fan of the jets when Sanchez was drafted, growing up in NS, most are Pats fans...... I am most certainly NOT haha.

I was a supporter of Sanchez, thought he might bounce back, but last year was enough. Very Glad jets got Geno, he is looking good. Apparently next years draft is really strong for QBs, but it looks like Geno could be a legit NFLer.

Nothing to say about that one except that the whole team sucked it good and proper yesterday.

Hope it gets better from here.:cry

And they played a solid game both ways, it was not a fluke. They brought it!

Their D is really stout, that's for sure... When the weather turns to shit, the Jets could be hanging around...

Seems like management-- by that I mean GM and Ryan need to invest in the O. They've been long on the D. Keep trying to fix the O by just a new QB.

I do think a team can be a contender with an uber powerful defense. Even in this pro Offense era. But they have to have a decent not horrible Offense.

The Jets have been unwilling to go there.

Unwilling or don't know how? They started to get some pieces together, but then let it all splinter....it has been painful to watch. To be fair to the new GM, he was late to the party, he needs a little time to make some moves.

The Jets are going nowhere without a QB. Unlike a lot of folks, I really like Rex Ryan as a head coach. But he's been cursed with bad QBs from day 1, which is certain death in a passing league.
