    It's very common for the numbers to be somewhat close though. And they are here. Not that I am saying it's legit, I have no idea about that one. I have never once seen a 60's or 70's Honda that had matching numbers. And I have seen a bunch. Another odd thing, many vintage bikes were titled for date when they sold, not when they were built. It's pretty common to see old bikes built 9/73 but titled as a 1975. I think it was up to the states back then, that was before the 17 digit VIN numbers. Different times, different rules. Bach then, the VIN didn't include any manufacturing info like the ones today do.
