Hey guys.....just wanted to share some photos of my son Jacob.
Some of you already know him....the little punk has two years of Baja 1000 pit crew experience under his belt.
(He helped out at the '06 and '07 ADV B1K Pit)

We spent some time last week playing on a couple of jumps at a friends place.
We have been blessed with some incredible weather in the Carolina's lately.

I think the pics turned out pretty good considering I was using his phone!

    Enjoy!

...but seeing that his helmet was the only upper body protection your son was wearing, even if it was just some practice riding and some jumps, made me cringe. ATGATT...my two young sons always complained to me too, "Dad, it's just riding in the back yard and it's so hot!" I still insisted they wear protective gear. Today, both mature adult riders, thank me for "being so mean and square" back then. Just saying...

Thank you for your concern, honestly..........if I could change one thing, it wouldn't be your mind.

That little guy has a little more than 11 years of riding experience. He always rides well within his limits and he was being supervised.

I feel the added protection that a long sleeve jersey/ chest protector would offer would be only to prevent "road-rash......make that off-road rash".
But, we have been thinking about a couple of Leatt braces..........

If you're speaking of something similar to a pressure suit.....then I'm a horrible father because we don't even own one of those.:lol3
