    I like the K bike rear drive/disc combo. Did you keep the numerically lower ring & pinion or use the GS gearing?

    In fact it's from a R1100..

    and i use 2 different rear drives: 37/11 from a r850gs for offroad use and a 33/11 from a 1100 for long distance touring.

    Nice subframe. Did you fabricate that too? Very good sanitary work. I like it.

    By the way, that's a nice lathe you've got there.

    I had been thinking about grafting an entire R1100GS rear wheel, hub, disc & drive to my R100GS.

    It does not have one, only contact and warning lights. I'm thinking of bying the cheapest Garmin Etrex to use that for intrumentation. Anyone tried that ?
