Well its nearly new, its got 400 miles on the clock already, not even run in and I actually picked it up about 2 weeks ago but didnt take any good pics of it, so here it is now! complete with ABS, Centre stand, computer and heated grips. Not sure if its got the clear indicator lens or not, the ad said it did, but I havent noticed them different to any others (well I havent looked to be honest...)

Its pretty hard to find trails in the UK, there are no massive areas of wilderness like in the US. We do have tracks called 'Public Byways' but its just finding the damn things. Im lucky to have this one on the way home from work, but its less than a mile long. Better than nothing! And one more pic because the colours in the first one are a bit odd:

as you can see I dont even have luggage for it yet, just got a back pack strapped to the seat! Awesome bike though, Im loving it and just had to share the pics :D

I like those mirrors. I wonder if they would fit on my 07 1200 GS without giving me a nice view of my elbows?

I was going to go out and get more pics today but its pissing rain. There is a kinda strange stiry attached to the bike. I rang about 10 BMW garages all around the midlands of england and none of them had a 800GS. They all said they could order me one for the end of July, some said September (BMW factory closes for august apparently) and another said next year! So I had just about given up on getting one (I have no patience to wait until the end of July  ) Then I find a Garage in Grimsby, north east of england that has one with all the extras. Apparently some one bought it, rode it for 2 months (only put 405 miles on it) and then brought it back to the garage and ordered another one because he didnt like yellow. very odd. So I guess he doesnt get his silver bike until the end of July!

The whole bike is standard at the moment, I think the exhaust sounds pretty good.

The bobble is a weird one alright, its the brake fluid, but with a great looking bike, well designed, why the hell is it sitting right up there! Touratech do a aluminium guard for it, but I think it makes it stick out even more. I've just put up the larger resolution pic of the first image, i'll get some more when/if the sun comes out :thumb

Well I wouldnt call myself an experienced biker with a lot of knowledge to compare it to, but power seems fine. I took a test ride on the F650GS before this one and the difference was huge, bigger than I expected. The engine does 'stutter' occaisionally, not sure if thats the right word to use. Basically if I slow down and am driving in too high a gear the engine kinda coughs. I saw on another forum that this also happens on another one of the BMW bikes that uses the same engine. Its no big deal though and I actually quite like the sound:lol3
