I mean... I' didn't outright say it, but If the stepstool fits...
I think I can strap the ladder across the back....
and for the record, it came with the droopy eye
Motorcycle seats make excellent scratching posts.
I hate to pretend that all is "rosy". This thread is technically just an accumulation of my riding pics and I try to keep it happy. Try too. I hate to pretend.
We lost Ann in a freak motorcycle accident, a wonderful beautiful women, smart, wise, ... It hit me hard, too many important people in my life are gone. I was debating if I should ride, if I can be safe.
But I know Ann would not want us to stop riding, doing what we love and spending time with the people we love.
you will be missed - we love you.
I did go for the ride. The first real ride (besides the hack or dirt bike) since last October on the way back form Ribfest. I had no idea about how much I was missing the helmet time. It was like a 200 mile mediation.
A little bit of my past riding along. But it's the past...
all the road pics are handheld drive-by shots (aka a lot of trash)... that one wasn't planned eihter
You can be safe, but it's still a motorcycle and you're only protected by your gear.
This thing we share that brings us so much joy, sometimes extracts a very high price.
My take on it is, we are all born with an expiration date. That is going to arrive if we are hanging off the side of a mountain or hiding on a couch in the basement.
I'm going for a ride today, it's really the only thing that brings me joy anymore. That and spending time with my imaginary internet friends that I don't see often enough.
Just been sitting here staring at that picture thinking about Ann.
Such a wonderful sweet person. We're all going to miss you so much.
finished up the ride with checking in on Chris aka @Grizzlyman .
Thank you guys for being there for me....
2 wheels move the soul
A some solo time, some time visiting friends, a good way to spend a day.
So glad you got a full day on the bike. Sure wish I could have tagged along with you. Thank you for stopping in after your ride.
What's on your front porch, near the steps?
it's pretty beat up...
Have you been abusing your gargoyle?
the gargoyle had a rough year
BTW, if you want to fix your droopy turn signal, replacement stalks are a lot cheaper than buying a new light.
the bike came with 3 spares
Gonna swap it when I pull the tank
And a message written with arranged sticks, which either a dog or a breeze probably wiped out. There was another log at the back door, Porter promised me that he wouldn't let you trip over it in the dark when you got home.
I hope today is a little brighter.
I was wondering about that lot that tripped me last night (jk)
I asked the dogs what the message said, but they just said "woof" - don't know if it's what you wrote, of if it's a lack of communication skills...
The day is brighter, but I'm worried about other people. But at least Shane is on his way.
