Cool! 209 - 63 - Hooker Gap - 251 are part of my normal routes too.
Not to soil your untarnished reputation, but these totally worked... especially after I learned to not hamfist the bike-side connectors trying to jimmy them through the old stalk hole. Applying a little forethought to disassembly at the bulb side revealed a much cleaner re-fit. Thanks for the link and recommendation.
wait... did you replace the front or the back?
I tried to do the front, but there's too much plastic in the way to get the nut off. So for now, the droopy eye is ziptied and has to wait till I take the tank off and rewire the gps
Right, rear side... I had to completely remove the bike rack, rear seat and rear cover plate; but got clean access after that debacle. On another note, anyone have ideas for how to remove a bound bolt that snapped off flush at the rear grab handle? Asking for a friend...

Not yet... the race organizer's meeting is usually the 2nd or 3rd week in December, then they argue over who gets the prime weekends, then about 2-3 weeks later they begin trickling out dates for the next season.
RDV is on the short list of "shit-I-need-to-do-so-I-don't-go-completely-batshit-insane"
Weld a nut to it and fill the nut with weld. The heat may break loose the threads as it cools.
How about JB-Weld and a Bic lighter?
If that's not an option; I may have to try some D-I-Y Thermite...
I've never had much luck with JB-Weld.
