Oh that JAX. I couldn't imagine anyone being obsessed with the other one.
Y'all are cracken me up!!
Never saw Jax beer! Though the connotations of drinking Jax are a bit unnerving.
Enjoying the thread !~~~~!
Sorry for the hiJax Cuttle.
Seems like forever since I've checked this thread. good stuff, Silke...the shot of the pups is fantastic. Happy, happy dogs!!
it's snowing, tags are expired - time to take some stuff apart again
fingers crossed it can be "resurrected form the dead". My poor hubby will have to take over on this one...
I'm a mechanic, not Jesus.
Jesus isn't real, so does that mean you aren't a mechanic?Just asking?
Like Jesus, I only work part-time.
Best of luck with the shock. My 05 OEM is un-rebulidable. :ddog I took it out at around 25K still working. If it will do you any good, it's yours for a song and a bottle of Bushmills.
I had the same problem on my 2 Shocks on my Green bike ..
They both went out @ 140K.. Only my air shock was holding the bike up..:huh
They were Progressives and they were unrebuildable...
Cost 134 EACH !! Ouch....
Good luck on trying to fix em....
Are you gonna let NCRick have a shot at saving it?
prolly - H will take a look, and Rick will be the next (and last) option.
My guy could be #3. Has more tools than a TV repairman and connections with BMW from setting up husky factory race bikes. He's got my HP2 forks right now.
And btw, like Jesus, Hunter needs a haircut!
actually NCRick is not just a buddy from the bar - all he does is shocks
http://www.motocd.com/ (if he says it's dead, then it's dead jim)
- and he will be at the RDV too this year
keep in mind it's 15 yo bike with salvage title....
Best money you can spend on it though.
I know, but for the same amount of money I could fly home and see my parents....
Maybe a used one?
I'll keep an eye out.
Too bad Öhlins didn't make them to fit Valks...
Only Progressive does..
But with 140K on a set I guess I got my $$ worth
The air shock is a Goldwing OEM .. And it has a 165 K on it now :eek1
And still going strong ...
