Happy Birthday Silke !!!!
Happy birthday from the flat side of the state, Silke!
I have shamelessly been using your ride report to get new routes. Topless Suzie and I went today to Wolf mountain rd on a nice little loop and managed to beat the brunt of the storm.
Nice ride report; I'll keep on following your tracks.
Happy to see you got her going again.
Thanks everybody for the b-day wishes! Because of the rain, I spend the day as a "slouch on the couch"
you are more than welcome! I am learning about the area as I go myself, lots more to explore...
yup, me too... trying to make up for the "lost time" - some pics of Tuesdays "long way home" after work:
Today - got off early and had a couple of hours to spare before Wedgeday:
took a ride on the BRP to get the NCTag
ssame rock on the way back
added a bit of gravel for good measure
random bikes at Wedgeday - "new" bikes are turning up weekly
Kennyanc and Happy Riding
oneupyourn with his "new" ride and BUGSMACK
and my "pet picture" - according to some folks I have a dog in the jacket
SO where is the Wedgeday in Asheville ?
As I said one of these day we will make one of them... And camp some where for the night...
Great pic The Looking Glass one
Wedge Brewing Co

I too wish to crash the party some day soon.
That is a good pic of the rock.I was up there saturday evening and it was getting pretty hazy looking out.
what better way then take the long way when getting to a party???
love the details - I hope one day somebody invests in it and fixes it up
somewhere on South Turkey Creek
and unpacking for a fun night at Kenny's & PJ's Flag Day Party
got my camp-gear down to a pretty manageable size that fit into one waterproof duffel: tent, sleeping bag, pillow, pad and chair (and yes I know my chair is pink - that is sooo me )
Shenanigans at the party:
getting ready for my first bout with kettle corn
better safe than sorry
it's working - just needs improvement
thank you Kenny and PJ for a great party and fabulous food
way home - took it easy...
that will make a great Tag on day
