So when's the grand opening party?
How's the belbow?
I'll sweep the floor one time as penance. Are you healed up yet?
The elbow is good now, thanks.
We should have the shop open in about two weeks.
The Party is set for mid Januaryish. I need to check a few things before the date is set.
By January 11th????
Sounds good to me.
Glad to hear your elbow is doing better, Hunter.
Happy Holidays and garage grand opening to you and Silke.

Very good photos. I am thinking of seeing what Catheys Creek is like in December. I saw that you turned around when it became a bit more remote. I am the same way. I ride by myself mostly and I adhere to the rule of never going off somewhere that presents a problem for others to get you out. Nevertheless, I will see what it is like this coming weekend (12/7-8/2013).
I wish... but we have company this weekend and I am overdue in helping at the shop too....
Catheys Creek is perfectly fine all year around (unless ice) - but I seem to remember something about being closed a few weeks back. Bueller, Bueller, Anybody?
I see it now.
Jan 11th @ 5
But it's just the "soft" opening
Congrats on the shop!! Awesome!
I'll have to come and check it out next year.
Is it snowing yet??
Very cool ... I wish ya both well with it
It was snowing for a bit a couple of weeks ago, but today we were in the 60th :huh... and wet. Supposed to go down to 28 during the day by next week, so I had to take advantage of the temps
I figured I will be gone a while, so I started with a bit pre-ride prep work:
well, by the time I was dressed and had the bike moved out, it started to rain... so I didn't actually leave till 3 in the afternoon - still enough time for a little 65 mile loop
no luck with the "no rain"
a wee bit "snoddy" on my tires....
dried a bit up on California Creek
and my domestic bliss payed off - soups done by the time I got home :dg (gotta love crock-pots)
that section of 197 is a strange piece of road. but super fun!
Too wet, couldn't look.
