not sure, why my "wake" is bigger than your guys
where's your thread???
Love your photography…hate sitting down here in the flatlands looking at it.
Looks like a great place to be…
Shop looks great.
Great pics. It was a WET day on the mountains yesterday. I was doing a bit of trail work and couldn't believe all the water flowing everywhere.
Might have to get out on the bike a bit this afternoon before the cold & snow returns.
Great pic ....
Watch out for falling rocks!!
So just what is it you're trying to say?
that it's a beautiful cabin.. that's all
She's stickin' it to ya!
today, I decided to go off by myself - I blew of the boys (sorry guys), decided to have a late start and just put around in Madison County... which turns out to be a good thing (more about this later)
Sunday and late start also means my hubby wants "Eggs Bacondicts", so I guess I'll start with the food pic
just checked out some back roads I normally ignore on the way to the "good stuff"
even found short stretches of gravel on this side
Fixer for sale on Upper Paw Paw Road
So far so good, great ride...
Let me tell you about a bit about Madison County: it's rural. Rural - like 3 towns, 2 of them have 3 traffic lights, 2 bigger grocery stores. Some of the kids spend over 90 min on the bus to go to school (unless it's cancelled for icy roads). The whole county has 452 sq miles, and tons of little roads.
So, running into people you know on a back-road is not something that happens every day...
Either way, I just got back from Paw Paw, crossing the French Broad and I see two guys pushing a yellow beemer. Looks familiar. :huh.
FUCK!!!! There is Shane, holding trotting down the hill after his bike. :eek1
He went down on oil and banged up his shoulder.
helmet is done too
not perfect, but I made a sling work with this
Dave got the bike in the meantime - he likes it, sorry Shane you left the keys in
And a few hours ago...
For now, he is living on our couch till Urgent Care is opening tomorrow. I'll keep you guys posted, but the guess is a broken collar bone.
Damn, that sucks. Hope it is nothing too serious.
get well soon
Hell of a spot to do an oil change. Good luck at the clinic, hope it's nothing serious.
damn it, get well soon
Dang, sorry to hear (and see) that. Shane, maybe you'll get lucky and it's not broken!
Nice teamwork up there, you guys.
Get betta Shane. Coulda been so much worse. Holler if you need oxy.
Ooof! I hate it when that happens.
Oil on a turn is one of my most basic fears. Scary stuff that.
Nice to see you getting out Sil. Looks like Shane feels the same.
Let's just go ahead and get this over with: He had to lay 'er down
Heal quick, I hope it's not broken. I'm gonna wring the shit outta that GS before I take it to Hunter's shop.
On a serious note, I saw that spillage in every curve coming down the mountain, like somebody forgot to put the fuel cap on after filling, and it was sloshing out in the corners. Just something else to be wary of when we ride.
Especially in the rain!!
Damn Shane! Heal up well!
