Can you imagine the sound of this at full chat......Instant woody.
Man, the power levels of some of the bikes today is just crazy.
Don't get me wrong, I love it, but dannng. :eek1
Rumors about this started over 2 years ago - never heard anything about "spy photos of a mule testing in Arizona." Is there a source for that?
I want to believe, but for eh moment I do not...
An embarrassingly heavy and ridiculously overpowered naked that is also hideously expensive?
Sounds like the perfect bike for today's fantasy driven high-end market. Check that eight-inch rear tyre.
I wish they'd just import the K1300R they are already building and selling elsewhere:
They tried - nobody bought them...
needs a car tire.
I think roadsters as a category are a problem for BMW in the states, and things are going to only get worse as the big four start to bring in roadsters with electronic gizmos (If a Z1000 with abs, TC, and optional heated grips shows up next month and I think my r12r might be for sale).
I only ever saw a k1200r once, and had over 50k on it. I liked it, but I'm weird.
Looks too massive for me. Also 6 cylinders=lots of valves to adjust! I'm still stoked about the KTM 1290 Superduke R. I really like the v-twin engine.
I agree, this engine, uncorked a bit, sounds crazy fantastic.
I just can't stand that they hide this gorgeous thing behind all that shrouding and radiator gunk. I want to see six pipes, ala the CBX, and not a big plastic bug-catcher. Somehow, I would hope they could expose a bit of this beauty.
And who doesn't?
Jesus christ that thing is ugly.
I think it is absolutely gorgeous. So there...
Yeah, I like them too. I think they're kind of a forward thinking standard.
It's too long for me. Not flickable enough
THe K1300R is one of the nastiest looking bikes made. I love the looks.
I'm thinking an F1 cadence with 137 ft/lbs of torque. 1290R or this?
I have had the chance to ride the K12R. What a great bike!
I would assume that the K13R would be all that and then some.:eek1
And, it's a darn good looking machine. Much easier on the eyes than the current trend of robot/insect bikes the Japanese are putting out...
