K75S rear shock bushing.

    The lower rubber portion is pretty much shot. I ordered the OEM bushing from BMW, it arrived, I double checked the part # and it is correct, however, it has a metal sleeve around it. It of course, will not fit with it on, so what is the best way to "squeeze" it in there without wrecking stuff? Socket and vice?     That rubber is normally vulcanized against both metal cylinders, so the three parts don't rotate respect to each other.
    Even if you can pull the rubber out, it seems that it is going to be dancing in the shock absorber.
    In that case, you will need some diameter covered by the machined metal bushing.

    I would take both to a machine shop; they will know what to do.
    Any play in there will be destructive.
