New boots for me. That and I want to find some roads that do not go straight for um-teen million miles.

Anyone got a kid around eight years old that needs some mc boots? I have a used pair of unknown size that Bryce wore for a year or two. Not worn very much, but not too clean. Free to good home.

PM me so I see it.

Hey, I'm in Pittsburg (well Arma). Not much happening around here lately as all the trails and fun spots I knew have been bought and closed. Lots of good stuff over by Joplin and If you just like exploring the gravel wastes just pick a road and head west. If you see a guy running around on an old 640A in way too much gear, thats me.
Backroadstouring.org does a flint hills ride that I've been trying to make for the last three years, and there are a couple good ones in Arkansas that should be on the list.

I got to try out the new K-60's. Four bikes, 3 KLR's and my BMW, met up around noon for four hours of exploring Chase County. We covered about 100 miles despite the many stops for "refreshments".

This was one of my favorite stops.

    Love the new tires, BTW!

I probably should have given everyone a little more notice, but tonight is the first of our weekly Lawrence Motorcycle Meetups for 2012. We'll be at South Park on Mass. Street at 6, so if you're feeling like a ride, you've got a destination!

I'm headed to Blue Mound next weekend on the invitation of inmate ajayhawkfan. I wonder if I can get some input from you Kansas guys as to whether the route I've laid out is dirt or not on the Kansas side of the border? Thanks for any help you might be able to provide. The route can be found HERE. This is a .gpx file and is stored in the Google Documents cloud.

Hi all. I'm new to ADV riding and looking for people in the Wichita area to connect with. I don't see many dual sports on the roads around here. Maybe because they are all off the beaten path? Hopefully that's the case! I'm looking for some advice from those with more experience than I in getting my first bike setup. Looking to get a BMW 650 as my first ride. If you are in Wichita, please let me know. Would love to chat with someone who knows what they are doing :) I always like to go into a new adventure as informed as possible.

    Thanks!

Charlie, I have some waypoints I'll get to you. Some you can hit coming and some going.

Hi! I'm from Wichita, but live in Kansas City now. You want to connect with the Backroads Touring riders. A lot of these guys are from the greater Wichita area, and they lead some nice dualsport rides. They also put on a popular "Flinthills Stampede" event each year. Check it out!

You might get hold of Mike at Engles BMW in KCMO about a used 650GS. I know they got one in on trade.

Woke up to turkeys gobbling in the woods and Coyotes in the distance, deer in the meadow behind my tent. What an amazing place to have a cabin. Five ponds stocked full of fish, a running creek behind the cabin,
