I will be there. Not taking anything to show. Just going to admire. I will probably take the Jawa next year. I also hope to have an old Z 50
to restore for my son too.

It was at the time, but who knows? I think he's fallen off the left coast.

    How's the weather, suckas?

P.S. I wondered for a second who took that picture? Than I remembered, she took pretty much everything else too. :D

Best money I ever spent. Every. Single. Penny. I'm happy, healthy, remarried, and expecting.

California is a dream, in case you were all wondering. The new job is great, my new wife found a job at a lab about three hundred feet from my jobs front door. The weather is amazing, the people... well... the people are Californians, and if you don't know what that means you just have to visit. My apartment is ten minutes from Sears Point (Infineon, meh,) thirty minutes from the beach, and about five minutes from some beautiful twisties. The food is awesome, despite it's blindingly bad BBQ (except the BBQ oysters, about the only BBQ they do good,) and the beer is as good or better than the Midwest brews. Plus, I'm ten minutes from wine country, which I never thought mattered until I tried some of the wines out here. So, with the exception of BBQ and my family and friends (who are always welcome to vist,) I miss nothing about Kansas City.

Hi Barry :wave Why so hateful? :D

If you'll excuse me, I'm going for a 50 degree ride for a coffee and breakfast by the ocean.

    Very cool, Ian. When?

I love northern CA. My sis is in Carmel, and my niece is in Alameda. We get our there when time and money permit, but haven't done so with a motorcycle. We have driven the coast between SF and Big Sur in a Miata, though, which was a hoot. Check out the cioppino at Phil's in Moss Landing, if you haven't yet.

    Middish-October.

And speaking of Miata's, does anyone see a resemblance between my new ride and my old track bike?

Can't see the track bike picture. Do they both have the training wheels on the back?
