Any of you going to the GS trophy qualifier in Bixby Mo? I'm leaving thursday. Should be epic!
Good luck Lee.
I'll be getting getting everything ready for the BBQ Run the following weekend, another epic event.
Are you riding in it?
I thought it was next weekend until you posted. I would have been there all alone and hungry.
I'm working insane hours right now but I'll be sure to reach out when I have time for more than commuting.
Yes I'm competing in it and will be ready for BBQ the following weekend!!
I live down in Wellington. Try and ride when not at work all the time. Ride a 950SE. Might try and make it over to Sedan for trials event next weekend.
Trying to make the best of it......
Hey, Mike! We missed you at Eddies,
And he ignored our texts.

I'll send you another one to make sure. Stand by.
BATOPILAS; Any one have any interest in a short, laid back trip down into Batopilas ? I am looking at leaving SW Ks the first of November and either trailering or riding to the Big Bend area. I would like to cross and spend the first night on the border in Ojinaga. I’m thinking the next night in Creel. From there ride into the Canyon to Batopilas.
There is several options from there and I’m pretty open on schedule. I will be riding a Tiger 800 xca
If any one has any interest please drop me a pm
I had to Google the town, never been in the Cooper Canyon area.
I wish I could go, should be a great trip.
As you will be in the neighborhood, be sure to look for The Treasure of the Sierra Madre;
A few friends and I rode to Western KS and then followed the Smokey River east to Lindsborg, KS. It was a good trip.

What's the story on those caves?
Edit: a quick search was successful. Interesting.
Man made caves used as a home because limited building material.
