"$350 "Pro" stand and 4 locking pushers only (tool not included)
LMK the final cost if you get a discount on these, if there is no discount then I'll order direct from him and save you the trouble.

Adding now. Thanks! If you're in Salisbury we can meet up somewhere nearby and get it to you in person to save shipping. I'm in Charlotte.

Sweet! May want to pose your questions to the guys over in the original thread. Link is in the opening post. Sorry I am not able to speak from perosnal experience.

    Will do.

That price is including a 10% discount that I haven't confirmed yet. Since several people are interested I'm hopeful we can get a deal. No idea on shipping costs yet.

    Got it, thanks.

I want one. I'm not sure yet if what I need for adapters, though; I've got an R1150GS rear wheel and a KTM front wheel whose axle size I don't recall at the moment. I'll try to remember to measure next time I'm wrenching on it.

When I looked at the stands last time, and my cost to ship to the individual inmates, a 10 % discount would have been a wash. And I have access to a commercial UPS account. The advantage to the tools and adapters is they fit in a USPS Flat Rate box. I think if EvanADV has to ship the stands UPS (weigh and measure and zip code) it will sink the deal (not to rain on anyone's parade).

Plus the stands will ship individually from Estonia, which will drive up the International shipping cost. If you can get him to drop ship to the individual inmates it would be better. And he could include a tool / adapters in the stand box if someone wanted one. I tried to figure out a fair way to divide up the shipping costs since not everyone ordered the same thing. I couldn't think of a way with the stands unless Are drop ships and that inmate pays that shipping fee. And remember, he's 1000's of miles away and English isn't his first language. The KISS principal worked for me LOL.

Pretty much what I figured. I'm hopeful but will understand if I don't save anything this way. Still appreciate the effort.

I'm in for the tool if it has enough "push" for 21" wheels -- that's a no brainer. I'm interested for the full "Beginner's Kit" if the overall price is better than going direct.

I will need to research my axle sizes before we finalize.

    Thanks!

Got a response from Are this morning with some information.

The good news is it appears he will offer the 25% discount on any order with over 25 pieces. (EDIT: This is wrong) I've wrote him back to confirm that includes stands, but his original message has led me to believe it will. With that said, also considering his notes regarding shipping (can fit 2 complete setups to a box), it seems worthwhile to still do the stands as a group.

Piney, I agree, keeping this as simple as possible is the best way to go.

Okay, so I was wrong in assuming the 25% applies to the stands.

The discount structure for the stands is this:
    5-9 ........ 10% off
    10-19 ..... 20% off
    20+ ....... 25% off

We already have 3 interested in stands so we'll get the 10% discount at minimum. I would like to get it down to 20% to maximize savings. I can probably cover the cost of 2-3, so let's try to get at least 4 more people in for stands to meet the 10 piece minimum for the 20% discount.

I've updated the first post to reflect the 10 stand minimum and the current stand count.

Made a spreadsheet and "tentatively finalized" pricing to include shipping from Estonia to me and the PayPal fees. Info in first post is up to date.

Shipping from me to you inside lower 48 for the tool/adapters should be whatever the cost of a flat rate USPS box is. $12 or so.

As for international shipping or cost for shipping the stands, we'll need to work that out case by case.

Whew, this is a part time job. :rofl

Good news folks. Are wrote me back and said it will cost about $85 to send one stand package to the US. I've asked him to confirm he'll honor the 20% discount if we order 10 stands but have them shipped to 10 different places.

If he will, this means you'll get the stand shipped to you for only $85 total shipping cost, straight from him, eliminating me as the middle man and saving that cost for the second leg of shipping.

    Will keep everyone updated.

All right!! This post is mainly for all the Canadians that would like to buy the tool!! If you're interested, but are being held back by the cost of shipping from the USofA to your cold part of the country North Of the Border, I've got a deal for you!! What Evan and I agreed on doing, is get the Canadian orders shipped to my address, and I would then redistribute them to you, at your shipping cost via Canada Post. It should save you a few bucks...!! Let us know which side of the border you are, so we can figure all that out!!

BTW, I'll be shipping out of Alberta, postal code T9M 2C3, if you want to get an approximation price for shipping!!

Are just confirmed he'll send stands out seperately and honor the group discount, so we're good.

Those of you who want stands, figure 20% off the original price (if we get 10 stands on the roder) plus $85 shipping to your door. Should be pretty close to prices already listed.

    Hi Evan,

Good news. My calc shows a net savings of ~$38 at 10% and ~$77 at 20% (Beginner Kit).

Process wise, it would probably be better if we paid Are directly because of the PayPal fee issue if we paid you. At 3%, it would be close ~ $12-13. What do you think?
