One of the things that annoys the wife of a buddy (and I suspect lots of women) is that men are really good at this - for stuff they care about. My friend can't tell taupe from ecru when they're deciding on house paint, but researched 20 different colors picking a pin-stripe kit for his bike. "He'll let the kids leave the house wearing anything, but that damn motorcycle couldn't leave the garage till it looked perfect!" is a frequent line. :)
Yeah, whoever owns that has gone over it with Mr Sheen. It's the only decent 'real' pic of one I've found though; all the others are adverts or shop ones which are too dark to see much. At a quick glance they look like the last model Yamaha XS650, which is what I thought it was when I first caught a glimpse of one in the shop. They do look nice, though I still prefer the green.
An aside: Mine had been getting increasingly bad buzzing in the bars over the last few months so I slackened off the two rubber mount engine bolts to about 5 ft/lbs, rode the bike for 100km and then put them back up to 34 ft/lbs. The buzzing has almost disappeared now and no more white fingers. Old trick to do on rubber mounted engines every year or so.
Shockingly, it looked like all those Brit bikes started.
Interesting, in that whole group of maybe 200 or so riders, only 4 or 5 had full face helmets.
What a way to get a ton of people to wear as little gear as possible.
And no one died.
Interesting fully enclosed bike. Really liked the deployable outriggers
There are hundreds !!
We were barely 20 registered in Lyon... and it got cancelled because of the rain...
In Lisboa the heavy rain didn't stop the ladys!
Spreading all over the world, and it is for a good cause...
What started as a spontaneous movement lats year is already being targeted by sponsors-to-be ?
Caught up with a fellow South Australian for a great ride to Strathalbyn. Adelaide Hills, springtime weather and a W800 - perfect.[/IMG]
Two W 800 together , that's a rare thing to see

Love the C90 and love extra tank. What sort of range do you get from that bad boy now?
Looking for a euro website that has the w800 and can ship parts to the USA. I tried cmsnl.com but they didn't have the w800.
