Keihin FCR review on a SE 950

    That's a fun feeling. When you just hit that wall where the tire spins up.

    Also at those speeds that's a reasonable ammount of speedometer error. So 218 indicated is not 218 actual.

    Because the throttle pull was gettting a bit tedious, I put one of these in;

    It has brought the pull back to what the standard carbs throttle feels like. Although it is a metal tube, what also contributes to an easier pull, apart from the different cam profiles, is that it looks like it has teflon inserts.

    Pricey, but has fixed for me the one last thing that was pretty irritating, especially as I have a slight case of carpal tunnel coming on.

    Interestingly I couldn't tell the difference in the amount of rotation the throttle needed. It's not like I have to wind the throttle on and only get half way before I have to grab another handful. It is about less than a 1/3rd of a rotation from 0 - 100%. So all in all, I think a great mod.
