Can't you find a company here in the US to make them?

I looked into manufacturing the project locally and it's not feasible due to my budget constraints. I am open to moving it back locally once things get ramped up.

Decent turnout at HU Mariposa event and more people signed up for the pre-order email list. Still some room left on the list, sign up if you have not already.

Definitely. Just got the contract signed with the manufacturer last week so the wheels are moving closer to product release.

Quick update: The product continues to be in the manufacturing stage. Our goal is to deliver an excellent product and part of this is setting a high standard with our manufacturer. We expect to have the product available for pre-order early next year. Thank you all for your patience. I can't wait to get this into everyone's hands!

Was just thinking how nice this thing would be for a quick wipe off the other day when my faceshield was coated with road salt...

no worries. things happen and pretty aggressive on you part to get them through the holiday squeeze.

2018 will be a good year.

There were actually a few people that reached out to me wanting pre-production units for that same reason.

I agree, it was aggressive. I hope to have one to you soon!

    Ordered!

Will replacement cloths be available? Can regular microfiber towels be used as replacements?

Also what do you recommend using in the bottle? Windex? I normally clean my faceshield with Honda spray polish (I think it's called Original Bike Spirits or something now). It's an aerosol. Would it be worthwhile to transfer that to the Kelias bottle?

Will the micro-fiber cloth not get full of dust when riding behind somebody on a dusty road ?

Yes, replacement microfiber cloths are currently available on our site Keliasgear.com. We will get the Amazon listing set up for it soon as well. No, regular microfiber towels will not work.

The great thing about the Kelias Visor Clear is you don't have to use any fancy aerosol cleaning solution so you save yourself money. So water and a drop of soap will do just fine. Windex and any other ammonia based cleaning solution will damage your expensive polycarbonate visor and helmet shell so I would not recommend using it.

Great question! We tested it in Death Valley and the Nevada desert during motorcycle rallies and found it worked well in dusty conditions as well. At the end of the day we would just rinse any dust build up on the microfiber and it would be good to go for the next day with no scratching on the tinted visor.
