Kenda’s Big Block is the brand’s first tire for adventure bikes. It’s scheduled to begin shipping before the end of the year. Kenda says it designed the tire specifically to meet the demands of high-powered adventure motorcycles such as those from Yamaha's new Super Tenere, BMW, KTM and Suzuki. Large tread blocks improve tread wear and high-speed handling. A high-impact, bias-ply casing structure resists punctures. A bias-belted casing improves handling and stability. The rubber mound was designed specifically for wet and dry packed terrain. The Big Block is DOT- and E-mark-approved and will be available in front sizes 110/80-19, 100/90-19 and 90/90-21 and rear sizes 150/70-17, 150/70-18, 130/80-17 and 140/80-18.

That should be a good tire for the DRZ400 too.

Interesting...I just put a set of K761s on my Xch, and very impressed...can't beat the 82$ shipped cost for a pair...If these come at the same price point other Kenda's are at...it'll be a great option for 50/50 tires...

This is good news for the market. Let's just hope Kenda did their development homework better than Shinko on their self-destructing 705 tires.

They are black, they are round, they are cheap...........Do you think the sportbike squids that use them for burnouts care about anything else?

I'm also interested. I had Kenda K761's on my old 650 and they were plenty good on and off road. They weren't as aggressive as the Big Block looks.

Will make for an interesting decision next summer when I'm due for tires.

Although the AU website provides a lot of information, it does not mention where the tires are produced.

    Anyone know?

    Because? :ear

Just curious if there is some specific reason or just a case of being happy with what you've been running. I know nothing about Kenda tires.
