Well, last Friday, the 19th I rode up to Kern River. Just passed the deli/store the sign said no outlet, road closed at Johnsondale.
An old sign, I thought. But I went back to the store and asked.
It's closed for another week, the lady said. They are clearing the road but there still is a lot of debris.
So I had to ride back to Wolford Hgts and take 155 west to Jack Ranch, then north.
So when does Sherman Pass open?

Seems such a long way for a simple spring replacement (forks are fine, only my lard ass needs more support). Anyone know a good suspension guy in OC?

    You forgot the trials tire...???

I have a couple of people interested in a memorial weekend ride.
But we are about a month out still.

All welcome it should be fun.
Camping - Riding and good times!

A plus would be to get up there early before it gets all clapped out.

    Just putting it out there???
