New Paltz is 60 miles
local enough for ya? there's a couple of acres out back to crash around on. Takes about two hours to hit everything once. Longer if you try and make everything clean... offer is open
As soon as I get the forks back i will be scheduling test facility day! Thank you Very Much!
Just try to go everywhere the GasGas goes with your KTM.
Great to see some new blood in our NETRA enduro series. Geoff's Helmet Cam vidio is also great. Gives new folks a great veiw of what to expect.
Huge acomplishment finishing the whole course for your first enduro. They will get a little tougher, the snow run is laid out on so it can be negotiated with lots of snow. Good Break in ride for sure when there was no snow.
My club will be hosting a Enduro school http://www.pathfindersmc.org/events/. It was well recieved in the past.
I trailboss the Netra Rocktoberfest Enduro, I am kicking around a few ideas for first timers who go through the school. If you choose to enter the non competive sportsman class, Maybe ride the first half with a Club member who can explain things to you as the day progresses. Still a work in progress, really depends on who is availble. First priority is maning all the checks.
See ya on the Trail
I would like to make the enduro class. Pretty sure I will be bringing my daughter to the youth clinic I need to move a few things around to make them.Roctoberfest is already a planned event.
I asked Stagehand to ride his PD when I went over with the 250. I figured that way at least I would not have any excuses.
Mail came today, My first official enduro shots
If that isn't a internet bitchslap I don't know what is!:huh
Heard back from REP today. Should have the forks back by the end of next week. Pretty much everything worn out and the springs are original and a little light for my big ass, On the plus side since REP did the forks, what seems to be many years ago, they will update/upgrade the valving for me no charge. Since this is low buck racing. Rear shock will go into next months budget.
probably feel like a new bike when you get them back
Im hoping so. They were like mush if I got any air and I really wasn't happy with the handling in general. When Tony said the internals were pretty worn I was happy to hear something was wrong with them.
Sounds like we're on the same page with the suspension. After the Snow run, I made some calls and found out what spring rates I need for the Berg. Ends up, I was running springs 4 sizes too small My race sag was 130 mm and the spring was adjusted as far as it would go:eek1
Suspension is money well spent!
My brother is going to REP on Thursday to pick up his bike and my cylinder so if your forks are done he can bring them back for you?
Sure! I guess Tony can call and get my CC# over the phone or I can swing cash by your house. Tony said he needed a day or 2 to get the fat boy springs
Got home home today found these when I got here
