See post #199 above for the Indiana tracks.
Which one do I download?
Both the Indiana one and the Kentucky one.
When is this ride again??
Where's the GPS files??
Who's carrying extra gas??
Are we spending the night somewhere??
My life is now complete, for i have been paged to the alter of ADV.
anyways... sorry fer takin so long... but things suck rite now.
Sourjon, you were beat by 9 minutes on your post and pm... so backmarker has won the cabin... and the privileges of doing me great favors for the next few years...
you guys and gals be safe and careful... and if you cant be safe or careful...
name it after bigdog...
oh yeah... paul...you're just a loser...
If I knew for a fact the weather was going to as nice as it is tonight I'd consider camping, something I haven't done in probably a dozen years. Lets hope it stays this nice at least through this weekend for the Madison ride.
Motorcycles make the suck go away
A friend pointed me to this thread. Looks like a good time. I likely won't know whether I can go until the week previous. Hopin'. Think I could get in on short notice?
There's no sign up or anything else. This is the closest thing to a motorcycle flash mob you'll ever be involved with. You just show up at 11 AM at the Huck's just west of downtown Paoli on March 24. How easy is that???
Ok fuggers I called Rock Cabins and started a cancellation list and I'm on top. Next cancellation is mine.
Edit: she said ohhhh a whole group of bikers took them all up!!! Are you a biker??
At's right darlin. Bikers.
Boy, are they gonna be disappointed...
I cant make it to this ride (on call that weekend); however, for anyone who doesnt know the area, and does not want to camp, and it is full at the cabins; the cabins are only 3-4 miles from I-65 (if that far) and there are numerous hotels at the Interstate and it is an easy (only a couple of small curves and hills) ride from the interstate to the cabins. Google Cave City Kentucky and you can find the list of hotels at the interstate.
If I can talk a guy into taking my on-call, I may meet up with the guys in Paoli, ride down, hang around with the guys, and hit the Interstate back home (about a 2 hour ride on Interstate to my house).
so any idea when you guys will be passing through Mammoth Cave?? Or where your staying Saturday Night, as i might try and catch up to you guys for one of those days.
I hope its like it was today it would be perfect.
Traded the sportster I was going to bring for a g650gs! Hope you guys don't mind a noob on some of those gravel roads!
You've probably ridden far rougher driveways and the gravel sections are short. They would have been a piece of cake on the H-D so the Beemer will make it fun!!
Looked at the extended forcast today, if it keeps this up tent camping may be the way to go.... Next tuesday a high of 81 and nightime low of 57.....Do the cabins have a/c????
Hope I not jinxing us....
Think those forecasts will work.
