    Thanks to everyone who put on this great ride. I cannot testify to how great the actual route was considering Johns GPS took a dump at the KY line Saturday and on Sunday Kevins died about 30 minutes in sending us almost to the TN line! We took a bunch of half slab back to make it home by dark and when I got home my XR250 was sooooo pissed at me for making it do over 55 for more than ten minute intervals. A nice oil change and I'm sure it will forgive me though. Still had a great time with some great people though and hope to do it again really soon. Oh and I give everyone permission to smack me next time I talk about not having a GPS and relying on everyone else :D

    Great route and good weather! Many thanks to all who helped make it happen.

    Hats off to my friend Sherrell from Springfield, Ky who rode the entire route including the two sections of gravel on a 1987 1100 cc Goldwing with 200,000 on the clock. He bought the bike new in 87 and alternately rides two other bikes. He's past 70 and that's all he'll say. Something for you young whippersnappers to think about......:clap

    I managed to get all of yesterday's video footage uploaded to my YouTube channel if anyone wants to check 'em out. I never have figured out how to dub in music, cut out the bad spots or do any of that other fancy stuff. Even if I knew how to do it on this new laptop, I'm entirely to busy (or too lazy maybe?) to do it. LOL There is a bit of wind noise due to the fact that I had the "open" cover on the GoPro instead of the sealed cover. If it gets to be too much, just kill your sound, toss your iPod earbuds in to your favorite tunes, grab a cold beverage.... and enjoy the footage ;-)

    This is video 1 of 16. You can find the rest by following the link to my YouTube channel...

    Great pics everyone and I'm glad no one was seriously hurt on their mishaps. I'm uploading pics to smugmug now and I'll post my little contribution tomorrow.

    Had a great weekend fella's. Thanks to all who participated and made it such a blast.

    ==============================================================

    Here's a repeat image. I rode up Friday after work to meet up with woodsrat, OBD, wrJim, advcoot and son Matt for Pizza. Ran into a heavy shower just west of Corydon and got this great sight once I popped out the western side. Took it as a good omen.
