Airbox drain. You pull the plug and empty it whenever you see crap collecting in the cone (little reservoir)

Iron Butt rider. The box you ask about is a roll map box. You can print out your trip and roll the map, or directions, for each phase of the trip. Two GPS units, CB, extra tank, and bags galore!

I almost mentioned it, but decided I didn't have the time to analyze the bike to the point where I mentioned everything. :lol3

there is always several bonuses at or around the dragon or nearby comunities and has been since the late 80's.that set up is tipocal of most bikes in the 11day 11,000 plus mile rally. for the last several years it has taken 14,000 or more miles to win the 11 day rally. route plannig and time management are the keys to a good finish in these events.the bikes are restricted to a 11.5 gallon fuel load and an auxillary fuel cell is a must. a competive iron butt bike is very simmilar to a dakar or baja racer set up for street rallys.this is one I rode in several rallys from 2005 to present day.[IMG]

That's probably more comfortable than it looks - except for the flagellation that would result from achieving any significant speed.

I'd love to ride one once, just for shits and grins - but I'm not sure I'd choose to take it through Deal's Gap

Look at the big ass disks on the rear wheels, that thing doesn't really need a front brake at all.
