All I can think of is this...

Im going to guess he was either just run over (see the pillion is off her seat and in the back of the rider) or the bike in pic braked super hard to avoid old mate spinning like a top on the road.
Jesus, how much does one of these bikes weigh?? So much impact the front collapsed, and the rear stays on the ground the entire time.
And I bet she has some wicked gravely rash on her forearms too. Thats going to hurt putting on .... well shit, its going to hurt doing almost everything.
That's not the woman on the back of the red Harley, it's the guy on the other bike. At least he has a FF helmet on and sort of gloves. The red Harley woman may have landed on her well insulated mate.
Anyone know what this is?
Fast. Awesome. Cool. Somewhat affordable. Looks to be an Ariel Atom (first series).
and a very rich driver.
Actually...looking closer...it might be a Lotus Super Seven that's been made to look like an Ariel. The Ariel Atom's nose is pointier.
That's what I thought at first, but the nose is wrong, and it doesnt have the pushrod suspension?
Frame, rollcage and suspension are also unlike the Atom. Maybe it's just me but the whole vehicle appears to be smaller than an Atom also.
From Killboy site, the owner says this:
Its not an atom, its 19k obo. See my many fs threads on line...try exocars.net
Heading up to Deal's Gap today?
I should be there by 11:00 or so in my Ural.
Mako VFR (Visible Frame Roadster)
2010 Matrix Motor Werks TR-42
Uses a Porsche 914 motor. Or can have a Subaru motor.
It is for sale in Baton Rouge, $18990
Yellow jacket knocked my dick in the dirt yesterday. Laying in being a baby today.
Speaking of yellow jackets, they stung the hell out of me the other day up on my logging road. Got me a good ten times before I could get away.
Ten times?:eek1 I was stung once in the neck the day before yesterday, hurt like hell and half of my face and neck was (and still is) grotesquely swollen.
I was doing around 60mph and saw the little bastard come from the right, hit me right in the little unprotected patch of skin between helmet and leather jacket. It is a mystery to me how he managed to get me so good in the 1/100th of a second the impact lasted. Good reflexes I guess ... it was the first time something like this happened to me.
Around 800lbs and the COG is pretty low. You are not getting a wheel off the ground without a ramp or precipitous cliff.
