    How about 'position of authority'.

    I think we should change 'congressman' to 'congressional servant', 'senator' to 'senatoral servant' and 'police' to 'rules enforcement agent'. No disrespect to the officers here.

    Ha! I work in Kuparuk! I do 4 &4s too. Fours years ago, I did 4 weeks on, 1 week off, then 7 weeks on ;(. 11 weeks in a 12 week period, up there working 7 twelves. Grim. But, I was moving to England so I needed the $$.

    T.C.A. § 55-8-164


    (a) A person operating a motorcycle shall ride only upon the permanent and regular seat attached thereto, and such operator shall not carry any other person, nor shall any other person ride on a motorcycle, unless the motorcycle is designed to carry more than one (1) person, in which event a passenger may ride upon the permanent and regular seat if designed for two (2) persons, or upon another seat firmly attached to the rear or side of the operator.
    (b) A person shall ride upon a motorcycle only while sitting astride the seat, headlamp illuminated, facing forward, with one (1) leg on each side of the motorcycle.
    (c) No person shall operate a motorcycle while carrying any package, bundle, or other article which prevents the person from keeping both hands on the handlebars.
    (d) No operator shall carry any person, nor shall any person ride, in a position that will interfere with the operation or control of the motorcycle or the view of the operator.
    (e)(1) An operator commits an offense who, on the streets of any municipality, roads of any county, or the highways of this state, carries a child as a passenger on a motorcycle whose feet are not on footpegs. Provided, the provisions of this subsection shall not apply to persons riding in a motorcycle sidecar.
    (2)(A) A violation of this subsection is a Class C misdemeanor…

    and in an accident he's set up for a charge of negligence

    "SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 55-8-164, is amended by adding the
    following language as a new subsection:
    (e) No operator of a motorcycle shall carry nor permit to ride thereon any person
    under the age of twelve (12) years.
    (1) The first violation of this subsection is a Class C misdemeanor
    punishable only by a fine not to exceed one hundred fifty dollars ($150).
    (2) The second violation of this subsection within five (5) years of a prior
    conviction of such offense is a Class C misdemeanor punishable only by a fine
    not to exceed two hundred fifty dollars ($250). "
    LEO should ticket this operator.

    Age specific law, no, size & weight, yes!

    Another law to be considered is against animals on a motorcycle or in the back of pick up trucks.

    Endangering your so called "beloved" pet is asinine!

    Maybe they shouldn't be allowed to ride in a vehicle at all, after all that does endanger them. Do you buckle your dogs in?
