Ha, I was looking for a better pic from our last trip, of one of our guys standing on a picnic table straddling the fire pit, but I couldn't find it in my photobucket. So I grabbed another from that trip
Don't sell me short, I'm a beer snob also. That's why I don't hang out at "the scene" and suck down Bud Lights. The scene is a circus worth seeing for those who haven't seen it.
Riding it at night is a pretty special thing. I love it.
I remember the first time I rode that 11 mile section of 129 back in the early 70s. I had never heard of the road ,I just found it while out on a weekend camping ride. It was special to me then, as were Buds, neither one has much appeal to me now.
I rode it at night, in the rain and in the fall with a bunch of wet leaves on the road. We didn't do it intentionally, we had some poor planning. But riding the dragon at night is very special :eek1
$15,000 motorcycle, $50 of safety gear (if you can call those helmets safety gear), can't afford two headsets (let alone a proper intercom or helmet speakers)
Those vanity helmets are worse than useless. They can give someone a false sense of safety... They provide virtually no impact absorption whatsoever.
i suppose they might keep the bugs out of your hair...
Some of use spend every dime we have on an MC,
and don't have much for much else.
Keep rubbing it in, richy.
Dude knows how to work it.
I'm thinking (well, HOPING) that this was a joke. If you buy a $15,000 motorcycle yet can not come up with 10% of that amount for proper riding gear you have a few prioritization issues.
I hate to say it, but there are a lot of people out there with "prioritization issues" Back when I sold bikes, people would come in to buy a bike, want to finance it with no down payment, and want the helmet thrown in for free because they didn't have a dime in their pocket. I'm not sure how they thought they could come up with $300 a month when they couldn't even swing a $89 helmet.

How about that luggage? A few more miles, a few more bumps, and that duffel bag will start rubbing the rear tire and either it will wear a hole though it and their clothing will be pulled up between the tire and the fender or the whole bag will. <?xml:namespace prefix = "v" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><v:shapetype id=_x0000_t75 stroked="f" filled="f" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" oreferrelative="t" o:spt="75" coordsize="21600,21600"><v:stroke joinstyle="miter"></v:stroke><v:formulas><v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"></v:f></v:formulas><vath o:connecttype="rect" gradientshapeok="t" o:extrusionok="f"></vath><?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o:lock aspectratio="t" v:ext="edit"></o:lock></v:shapetype><v:shape id=Picture_x0020_1 style="HEIGHT: 11.25pt; VISIBILITY: visible; WIDTH: 11.25pt; mso-wrap-style: square" alt="http://d26ya5yqg8yyvs.cloudfront.net/eekers.gif" type="#_x0000_t75" o:spid="_x0000_i1025"><v:imagedata o:title="eekers" src="file:///C:\Users\BH43067\AppData\Local\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01\clip_image001.gif"></v:imagedata></v:shape>If the rear wheel locks up he'll have to "lay er down"<o></o>
The FAIL is strong with this one. Nice Chrome helmet to go with the 20+ yr old cruiser. Hopefully his watch will save him from any road rash. Wonder if his date puts out?
Clogs! Fucking Dansk Clogs! I would never let my wife on the back of my bike in fucking clogs. But that's just the tip of the iceberg in that there fail...
