You know he is way too damn Anal for anything that is not perfect.
Poser profile.................full leathers on the street with nary a scrape
Yeah, why the hell does he want lots of protection if he hasn't even crashed recently? Poser.
Maybe he has enough money to buy new gear after the others have given their all to save his skin
Regardless of what your wearing there are many ways to achieve the same end, visibility, comfort and protection.
The street is not the track and no place for track speed or style of riding. You wanna wear full leathers on the street its more about image than safety. Come on, in full leathers without even a scuffed knee puck your posing, like it or not.
However anyones free to ride and dress as they like for whatever reason they choose, even if its to stroke their ego.
Textiles are convenient,leathers are comfortable.
What material do you think gives the best crash protection?
Ounce for ounce, why its leather. But that wasn't the discussion or point.
Sure it is.
Why would you begrudge a person wanting the best protection he can afford?
I, for one, would rather have too much protection than too little...
If someone thinks that makes me a dork, they've never been down hard, or they're too stupid to learn from their experience.
No comments on his counter leaning?
THAT'S why his pucks are immaculate, he thinks he's riding dirt.
Gotta grind off those chicken lines SOMEHOW if you're gonna look the part.
Not necessarily. My leathers don't have any knee pucks, or even Velcro.

and the rest of suzukis are what?
This is why I'm ordering a titanium chainmail suit with welded-in CE armor. Better protection than full leathers, and just as practical for street riding.
Seriously, rock whatever you want on your body. I'm not going to judge. However, I do think textile is more comfy than leather, and both will provide adequate protection when you're falling down the mountain.
