    My guess, looks like a 620 Duc, they were notorious for grinding the front of the massive exhaust cans when leaned, might just have levered the tires off. Correct body position would have helped. Shortening the pipes, by cutting off about 6" at the front is an easy mod, and popular.

    [DELURK] It would be interesting to see the "after" pics -- he's tucked the front wheel and I'd guess he's already on the way to the ground for a low-side. Hopefully, the Expedition continued on past, as his trajectory appears to be through the spot the Ford's rear wheel currently occupies. Otherwise agree with your comments, including the un-recoverable part.

    Remember that overall corner speeds on this road are usually pretty low because it's so tight.
