No I didn't. I was smitten by the dualsport bug shortly after this and the Beemer was sold. I was also convincing myself it was safer on a 650 because it kept speeds subsonic.
Truth is I never got hurt on the Beemer. Now I bang myself up trying to ride a pig like it is a dirt bike

Why does the pilot also have a strap? Too high to be a back brace, no? Are they strapped together?

Edit: Looks like their might be a handle on his strap above the kid's right knee... That would hurt to land on!

Also, I think the kid is "special"...

Yes, I dig you and the kid are out for a ride, points for good intentions, but the kid didn't make that choice to ride unprotected. What's the matter with you?

That's Denis (Dogtired) from Australia. He's logged 39K miles on since getting to the US 6 months ago. Just spent the last few days riding with him. If you see him on the road stop and have a chat with him. Great bloke.

Here's a link to his ride report on Triumphrat. He's become somewhat of a celebrity there...

That is very true. I am always on a search for something fitting my wife - occasionally bringing back goodies from Louis stores in Germany.

And, as you write, the smaller sizes are a real problem - many so-called women's garments do not go below S, while I am looking for equivalents of XS.

However, things are slowly getting better, at least with jackets if not pants. As others mentioned here, Icon and Cortech have some decent offerings.
As a heads-up: I am having really good luck with Rev'It gear, which comes in a wide variety of sizes, for both genders - often in real numerical sizing, as opposed to just generic L/M/S.

    End of thread hijack.

    That is "Henrietta".
A girl from Wisconsin gave her to me in Taos NM to deliver to a friend in Houston. Could be a long ride for her, I am currently headed for Boston... will get there eventually. I have a terrible sense of direction and tend to get distracted easily.
She normally travels sitting on my headlight behind my screen.

    Continued hijack.

Our daughter is continually frustrated by lack of properly fitting MC gear. She is 5' 7" & 115# with long legs.

XS Bell helmet fits good but jacket and pants? Revzilla has some better fitting gear for her.

It gives the passenger handholds. Especially good for kids and for males who are afraid to give the rider a good hug in turns.
