There's allot more than momentary lapses in concentration going on at the gap. It attracts people who have no business driving or riding quickly (or at all quiet often) and then puts them on a technical road. I guess it depends on if he had made the right decisions and had the right skillset to be there in the first place. You want to ride the gap with no gear and no ability to control your bike. You get what's coming to you. Just don't take anyone else out with you.
