That's fantastic! There's a guy near me on a really nice Harley (don't know my models, but it's on the smaller side, but customized and with a killer paint job).

I took double-take the first time he came roaring past me on the freeway, with his crutches loosely bungee'd on the back, good on him!

I got a GW also so I am going to counter your fail with a not fail. Lines are only painted on the roadway for people who DON"T know where the edge of the road is....he knows exactly where it is and he is using it. and I am going to stick with that answer, :D

And, in a sense, he's to the right of the (a) Solid Line...

Besides that...his vanity plate indicates he doesn't care what we think about his riding style. :flip

Didn't know how to fold his tent? Looks like mine when it came back with my son from Cub Scout campout.

I would agree with the others, no fail here, he has probably seen this thread and wanted to avoid the clowns coming the other way. Way to many people are afraid of the RH shoulder, but remember the pavement doesn't move, neither does the side hill, or guard rail, but the truck, riding clown, miata, mini coming the other way, they are not predictable at all. Riding far right is a great defensive position.

And I bet he has been to Europe, on the narrow Alps roads this is the PERFECT line around a blind RH turn.

Downhill, changing radius blind right curves in the Alps still scare me. I loved living in Europe, but I still have nightmares of some close calls in the mountains there.

However, you learned to hug the right side of the road quite well.

Sent from the voices in my head, and transcribed by their drinking buddy.

I love them, it is the challenge of keeping that line. I had a passenger that would reach out and pluck flowers from the rock walls as we went by.

She presented one to the border guard as we entered Slovenia, should have seen the look on his face, guess not many pretty women offer flowers when crossing the border.
