But if it's the right coconut....
Absolutely loved the ergos of the Diavel when I rode it during a Ducati experience day. Could stand to have the pegs lowered, but that's all I can think of off hand. Then again, maybe I was distracted by how awesome the engine is and wasn't paying any attention to how uncomfortable I was.
I've never owned a hog, but rented a Dyna in Florida a couple years ago (the rental place had sold both of their BMWs due to lack of use) and used the passenger <S>pegs</S> floorboards more than the main ones.
I have a Beadrider, so no squeezing of farts; I just rip'em amongst the beads. No danger from the g/f either; she has her own bike, and if I can smell rotten eggs, I'm following too close!
Dittos. At first I thought the Diavel was fugly. Then I rode it, and I found myself strangely aroused. Cool bike, indeed.
More a case of "hop on and ride".....
Not criticizing, but curious... what brand of helmet is that?
http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/nolan-n43e-trilogy-voyage-helmet without the chin bar.
Thanks. It was the absence of a chin bar that threw me. Couldn't for the life of me identify it.
No doubt if it was a full face helmet we would be thrown off on what kind of bike it was :eek1.. a full face helmet on a .....roadglide??? HD. That happens some but is rare. :huh
That is because BMW riders ride their bikes to the event instead of flying in and taking a limo to the rental agency.
You would be very wise to avoid it during the Summer unless you can get up at dawn and ride before the cruisers finish their large breakfasts. It is a good ride from 5AM - 7AM.
That faux chinbar is becoming the rage. I don't get it. I would think if it were there it would just be something to break and grind into your face. Most calim to not be fuctional, I guess if it was functional, I could wrap my head around it a little better. 3/4 or FF, make up your mind. LMAO
If I simply couldn't stand it and had to head to that freak parade stretch of road, I'd definitely run it during the dawn hours.
Of course, as as been mentioned numerous other times there are other roads out there which are just as fun, but haven't been tarnished by becoming a playground for idiots.
Who needs a pillion seat? A head of a pin is enough.
That's kind of scary. She's not holding on by much. Maybe her ass has a super firm grip on that seat.
Come on down and give me a shout. I'll take you thru and probably not meet another bike.
Cherohala skyway is a must do if you are in the area.
I'll definitely give you a shout when I head that way. Don't know exactly when I'll be out there yet, depends on a few things, but if things go as planned should be some time in June.
