Sign is described as "Removal of all previous restrictions". And they mean all, but to have the real fun you need to be driving a seriously modified Audi:D . Boy have they got the nice sound under heavy acceleration above 200k's.

I was in a rental car. Took a long time to get the rubber band tight, but when it did, it was still a pretty good clip. I found you actually needed a pretty strong stomach, particularly in the very left lane. Don't mind the high speeds, but the close proximity at speed felt a bit worrysome when we have following distance etc drummed into us here. Any thing less than 1.5m at that pace makes me feel like I am on a race track and should be doing something about it.

Glad you sorted the quote problem. They do think different over there, but let me know if you have problems again. There are some tricks, and if need be I could get a local to make a phone call.

    Some nice curves there.
The only catch is they look disjointed in that setup.

The bottom one is pretty much identical to mine, well identical before I pulled it apart 20 odd years ago.

Who do you guys recommend to supply rims and lace them up properly without wobbles?

Got a rear, just need a front. Only need them to make it easier to set things up, but getting the engine running is the first priority.

Hmmm, black rims you say? 36 hole is good, Black rims would be cool on the klr or any off road bike for that matter, but may not be the look I am looking for. Hmmmm?

Will try again later after tea. Clever dicks.

Padmei, I made new valve guides and put the head on the gas hob to get it hot enough to fit the guides otherwise they gall up if you do it cold. Unfortunately I made them out of brass, which is okay but bronze is better so will whip some up when I get some bronze stock for the gudgeon bush that needs to be made to suit the xr piston that is winging its way from the states as we speak. The bike pics are the look I want, yes the red one is an Aermacchi (and road legal) but you get the point.
