Sorry a bit off topic... I know the discount is good for only a one time use. However, how long will you have before the discount code expires? Also, will the KLIM discount code be good for the entire purchase or just one item?

Either way it's still a great deal for a good cause!!!

Both new suits look spot on. Looks like the Latitude will be our next suit. Love the Traverse but more pockets and vents? No brainer for us. Cheers to Klim for listening!

Maybe I missed something, but it looks like the logos are the same on the website and the photo's from OP.

Maybe they are using pre-production gear for placeholders on their website...

Not that logos were a deal breaker for me, a cleaner design with less logos would have been nice.

On the Canadian website the Badlands pants are the same price as the Latitude :huh

I really liked the harness in the ADV jacket and it looks like the Badlands has a type of built in kidney belt .. I'd like to see more on that feature

any thoughts on the venting? It appears to have better venting than the Adventure jacket.. which would be nice.

The jacket has two vents per sleeve, under arm (pit) vents and exhaust vents in the back. I am sure i left one or two out. Venting will not be an issue.

    +1
They also added some chest armor. Those are the 2 selling points for me. This would be considered one of the less expensive Armacor based jackets on the market as well. Hard to tell, but looks like the entire back may be Armacor. Looking good so far. And, the venting looks to be excellent.

Yeah, chest padding is a great feature.

Wonder if the armor is larger than the ADV's?

Venting looks much better and the jacket it probably a little lighter..... the black one looks like a winner to me.

Apparently the elbow pockets are bigger to adjust. That will help with putting better armor in.

Been eyeing the Badlands Pro jacket and Latitude pants as replacements for my Rallye Pro 2 suit. You're almost exactly the same size I am so I'll be ordering a large jacket. Just gotta work out the pant size. Really looking forward to not having to deal with a damn liner when it rains. Thanks for the pics and Q&A.

Thanks for posting this. I'm planning to order a new suit this fall from Klim and this will take off a HUGE chunk, making it easier to sell the purchase to my wife. It's cool to know I'm helping Neduro out with his quest to race the Dakar. Give 'em hell, dude!

    Greetings,
Can someone confirm if this jacket is Leatt brace compatible?
Since buying the brace last year, I can't bring myself to ride off-road without it.

Unless I am missing something, neither the Badlands or Latitude jackets are neck brace compatible. You have to the Adventure jacket route for that feature.

    <object width="560" height="349"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/xzAuu-VI8j8?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/xzAuu-VI8j8?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="349" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

OK, assuming marketing did its homework and decided there were more people who didn't want Leatt compatibility than those who did, and they stood to make a bigger profit by having a standard collar, I can live with. Business is business.

Otherwise, it looks really, really good and I will be placing my order sooner rather than later.

The only thing I can find that peaves me a little is that they cut the leather on the inside of the legs short. I wish they had made it like the Dakar and the Traverse (full length). Seems a little like nickel and diming to me and while no deal breaker, is a bit out of place on a pretty pricey piece of gear.

My biggest decision will now be black or grey.
