I'm 5'8" and have the same Happy Trails Rally windshield lift, it works great for me, if you are taller you could try another screen on top of it, so far I have been running stock and its been great, but playing with some plastic to see what I can come up with on my own

It was my birthday last week and the girlfriend bought me some new tires and they showed up today !! She knew I was no all that happy with the MEFOs off road so she had heard me talk of the Michelin T63s and they were on sale at the Superstore.... She is soooo smart! I installed them today and thought I would share some pics. These are also the first pics since the 688 bore kit, the ported head, big valves and hot cams.... I think I am ready for the Mendo rally this weekend, I just wish I had a good skid plate..... That, pegs and some Pro Tapers are on the "gotta get next" list..[IMG] [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

What bag do you have on your Motec crash bars? On aside note I love the yellow tape you threw on the fairing and guards. I wish mine was a black and yellow one, I love that look.

This is from the first test of my new 685 rebuild. It ran great and I had no issues. I can't wait to do it again, there was mud, roots and nice terrain.

    Re Post #5342 photo

On each side on the bars I mounted a MOLLE type bag. These are Condor large utility bags...got em off ebay for as I recall about $14.00 each. I mounted with the MOLLE straps and backed up with a couple of black flex ties. I keep a 2 quart canteen in one and a spare tube and first aid in the other. I prefer soft items in these bags. At times I rest my legs on top of the bags when cruising on pavement...makes even the Harley folks wave back!

Went for another South Texas stroll. For those who have been eyeballing them, that is the large Wolfman Rolie I'm using as a tail bag. I've got it stuffed with front and rear tubes, a tool set, tire tools, home-made trail jack, and the little Slime air compressor. There is more room available, and taking out the rear tube would free up a lot of room. The bag does want to slide forward a bit, but the straps may have loosend due to contents moving around.

    I like it.
