Exiting from Manizales, Colombia with a fellow and his KLR (mine is the red one, hehe)

Decided to take a few photos the other morning after completing a few new mods and adjustments
^Where is that, precisely?
Geographical location (Lat+Long).
Town Highway name.
Or...the cases are mounted 13" back from the leading edge of....
Just being a jerk, but not maliciously. If that's possible.
Hey amigo that is a cool pic (all of them)!! is that an aftermarket oil filter?? or is GEN 2 come with a different set up for the oil filter? I am asking because it looks (to me) like it is out of place to I was thinking after market filter.
I am just south of you in Ensenada and you are welcome to come and play!
That low fender gives it a way cool look. Best looking newer KLR I've seen.
I remember one time when mine was that clean .
that really is a good looking KLR. I'm way into the windshield and that lower front fender.
+1 It is amazing how that helps.
Bought a new KLR this morning, rode home in the rain. I was insprired by the above pics so I washed it and removed the decals.
Looks good. I'd consider blacking out that master cylinder and the other bright hardware.
These are taken near Black Mountain, north county near Rancho Bernardo - ish
As far as I know that's where the oil filter is supposed to be !
I don't think they changed it at all over the years, maybe just looks a bit our of place in the photos...
Yeah this is the cleanest the bikes been in a long time...
washed it after a weekender in Ocotillo Springs desert, figured it was a good time to take a few pics!!
Looks awesome! I love the look of the all black newer bikes...
Time to get some farkles all over that baby!!
Love the cases! And the blue/white color looks slick with the all black metal
The Tiger XC I traded in on it was all black also. Always wanted a KLR and when I saw this one in a showroom I pulled the trigger. Think Kawasaki was paying attention to the sales numbers for the Triple Black GS's and Tiger all black?
Ordered some farkles, skid plate, KLR tail bag and tank bag, 16 tooth cs, RoxRisers.
Puut a battery tender wire and heated gear wire in today and added this.
My semi de-badged 2012 (in my driveway).

Black looks good when new, but I think it will be hard to keep looking good once mud gets caked on.
Kawi spray bombs everything black, then they leave the same ugly gray seat cover. Come on Kawi get it together!
