Howdy, My 3rd KLR. First one was a 2007. Had it for a few months and sold it for an St1100. Few years later bought an 09 KLR and sold it for different reasons. Just bought this 06 with 5500 miles stock but with faded red plastics. A few cans of Krylon Khaki Fusion, and I like it much better. Added a few things, but IMOP, the pre 08's have more power. Brakes I didn't notice as being better on the 09. Just my opinion.

    Enjoy!

Thanks! I just had some pouches left over from work and dcided to strap them to the tank bars and use them for lightweight stuff. I also strapped the Bear spray on their too for quick access. The .45 is on me:evil...

yea, those tank vests are pretty cool looking. Might have to look into one.

    Cheers

I'm surprised there isn't a bold swastika in the two upper corners, just to let us know it's official.

That is the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds near Cleveland. I stayed there a week for work, noboday said a word about me riding around there. I think that during the week of the fair they are probably more strict.

Finally picked up a new to me KLR that I bought a few weeks ago, and have gotten out for a few rides. So far so good, it's working great, and I'm loving it.
