Hi Guys and Girls,
What programs are people using to convert KMZ files to GPX files ?
I use this which works well for me: http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/convert_input
Tyre to travel may work as well.
Brill planing software too boot.
+1 GPS Babel; http://www.gpsbabel.org/download.html
The other way is easy, from Basecamp, View Google Earth etc
Thanks for the replies
Another great software program.
Just wondering if you are saving paths from google earth, the default is kmz, but this can be changed to kml in the dialogue box and then from kml to gpx through software from trail tech "ride leader".
if you have a KMZ and want a KML you can also use any of the Zip softwre (PeaZip, WinZip etc) to uncompress and that will create the KML for you, as a KMZ is just a zipped up version of a kml.
Thank's for that Lentil, I use google earth a lot for planning rides.
