    Greetings!

I’m strongly considering a multi day ride through NY, VT, NH, and MA. Given the specifics of this opportunity, I may need to trailer to that general vicinity, where I would then leave my car n trailer for 2-3 days. Any suggestions and/or experience on a hotel/motel in that general area - give or take - that would allow me to do this?

Maybe consider short term parking at an airport. Cheap & secure.

We left a truck/trailer at a ID hotel but were required to spend the 1st & last night at the hotel. We called around asking the hotel/motels ahead of time amd made arrangements.

I second the airport. Especially small regional airports. I've left vehicles there a few times. Long term is what I use... it's the cheapest. Some local airports don't even charge.

PM me with a little detail like when and how big a rig you have. I live 30 miles north of Binghamton and have a fairly large area at the house to safely park a vehicle and trailer. As long as I am in town, you are more than welcome to leave your stuff at my place.

Another option is... Mini/self storage facilities. Quite a few have storage yards for boats, campers,RV's. Yes, you'll most likely have to pay for a month, but for a BDR or other long adventures, well worth it IMHO.

If you stay 1 night most hotels will not mind you leaving your truck and trailer....we do this all the time when snowmobiling on week long progressive rides.... just ask

Thanks for the suggestions! I didn’t even think of an airport, but that’s a great idea!

Thank you very kindly for the offer Spoke! I’m working this out now, I’ll have some things cleared up soon hopefully. How’s the fall colors it that way!?!

Why not give the local PD a ring, sure they can make a safe suggestion. Be nice, they may even free up a spot on municipal property.
