    Hey kids
i got me a leave pass for Easter so i'm thinking Kroombit tops and all the good stuff in between over the Easter break would be some fun

leave Brisbane on good Friday (April 6)
head up and back via as much dirt as possible (maybe even some beach :evil)
and return to Brisbane on Monday (April 9)

i'd be keen to camp every night but pub stop overs would be ok if that's the way the punters wanna go

    so who's in ??? :freaky

Working every day over easter:cry, but the Sunday and Monday are night shift so depending where you are at I would be happy to jump in for a day squirt if the moons line up. I'm near Gingin outside Bundy and you would probably pass near by on the way up or down. I'll see what your plans look like and see how it fits in. I'll watch this thread.

at a guess 200 km fuel range would be plenty (my tenere carries 30 litres , so would be happy to share a litre or 2 if necessary )

    my thoughts are

dayboro to murgon via belthorpe , jimna

    murgon to gayndah via hivesville

gayndah to mt perry via the old convict tunnel

mt perry to monto via kalpowar (mungungo pub has plenty of camping and is bike friendly)

    monto to ubobo via kroombit

ubobo to 1770 via bororen and Eurimbula National Park

1770 to rules beach via deepwater national park

after that we have a couple of options

we can go back across the highway and head back down via mt perry

or we can head down the coast via bundy , hervey bay, rainbow beach - noosa

    lots of options

the best thing is we are never too far from the highway if someone has to head back early

Spent 3 days up there exploring last week. Had a phat time. It'd be magic if there was some water flowing about the place.

all the Easter traffic will be over close to the coast.
should be nice & quiet on the roads inland.
