I'm 235ish on .46 and a pds-4 spring which is a super stiff / responsive non linear coil. Pulled it from my old 525 and it works great just have to set the sag right. I would prefer .48 up front possibly but the .46 is fine. I'm a desert and enduro style rider mostly high speed, whups, etc. setup is great..

I took advantage of a snow day and installed my clockworks tank on the 530.

Agree. My rear sub fender looks like an angry pit bull took out it's aggression on it. It came off today....new euro piece will be here Friday according to UPS.

We have them here and I have seen them in the mountains. I haven't tried one yet, but may get my chance this weekend. The kit isn't very good in the video. You can get a better setup made by a Timberland. Do a search on them and watch those videos of guys in the mountains.

More fun than herding cats! Especially when you add a boon docker turbo to a 500xcw (think 95 hp). Most of them here in Idaho go on the FI 500's. They start better in cold and adjust to the big altitude changes. Our KTM dealer is also the dealer for Timbersled....

Don't post stuff like this! I having a very hard time convincing myself that I DO NOT need a Timbersled kit. They look like a blast and everyone I know who has ridden one loves it. A little pricey though.

Found this on Cyclebuy.com. KTM tank made by Acerbis

    KTM_Orange_Tank_3.4G

No tax in most, and free shipping. Just passing it on in case anyone is looking for the larger size to get a bit more range out of their bike (as I was).

Comes with screw-on cap, but no petcock (use your original from OEM tank or buy a new one).

What's the difference between the 08 450EXCR CDI and the 09+ 450EXC CDI? I see the part numbers are different.

    78039031000 vs 78039031100.

Wondering if I should pick up a newer one...

I don't know the exact difference but Munn has the 31000 superceeded by the 31100....

Good timing, just picked up a 2nd mount so I don't have to swap it between 2 bikes anymore.
