Can't wait to see the bike finished ...
Thanks. I think I might peel the stickers off.
Just ordered the evo2 tanks to replace the original old style rally raid tanks. Seems like the new design stays narrower. Guess I'm keeping the 690 for awhile!
Your bike is looking great Mr Baja Dad
My bike has the EVO1 adventure fairing/tank kit. I want to upgrade to this rally light along with the tanks. Your website mentions that this will only fit with your fabricated cockpit support. I bought my kit back in March 2011. So how can I tell whether mine is using the LC8 cockpit support or your own designed one..
Where to get the white front fender?
Our cockpit support is as per the photo with 2 rectangular holes,as shown, the KTM one is more from tube.#I will try and put a picture up later
Low or high??
Love the look of the Evo2 kit...salivating.
I hate to ask, but are you planning to make a version which will fit with a Safari tank?
I need the mileage...(I already have the RR rear tank too)
Has anyone in Canada ordered this yet? What is the cost of getting this into the country?
unfortunately not,but we do a Safari Evo 1 fairing Kit
Prefer a low white front fender!!!!!
Order through KTM Twins who will ship to Can, and do offer a 10% discount over 1k. Or, order direct from RR in the UK - they will ship to us Canucks, and the price comes in a little lower than if ordered from KTM Twins
I was just wondering about brokerage fees and the like, if any. UPS charged me $25 for $30 hand guard graphics. I've been hit up for a few other out of country items that were not part of the purchase/shipping/tax prices as well. I don't like those kind of surprises.
I believe that there is a common understanding here in Canada, and a few pithy quotes to the effect that one should NEVER, EVER use UPS. Using FedEx or other shipper, and going with the quicker, higher cost air shipping rates from these shippers often comes with a brokerage fee included. Check the fine print on their webpages...
Avoiding extra brokerage fees is possible...
Correct. Especially anything coming from the US by UPS. They will bend you right over for brokerage fees. Although it takes longer, I have found USPS is best if you can wait, or Fedex if you need it quick.
I paid $30.00 in Fees!!!
for a COMPLETE EVO Rally kit !!
Unfortunately I don't think getting it into Canada will be the same great price.
Not that I need any more reason to pull the trigger and buy one of these kits, but does anyone have pictures of the kit installed on their bike yet? I saw the pics ktmitch posted and they look great, but I'd like to see the kit on some more bikes just because.
