They make a USFS aproved version for the X3 but not the SBK pipe.
However, they do have the conical type of insert instead of the screen type if that's what your after. There is no marking showing it's USFS aproved but once the stick goes in the pipe it would be evident that it's spark arrested.

I'm booked clear into mid December on seats, wish I could be of service sooner.

IN! :thumb - Can the dB inserts be bought seperately (I'm thinking I might want to try different versions)?

I'll double check to make absolute certain but I believe the DB inserts come with the pipe.

If I can get 6 to 12 interested in the group buy then it would allow for better savings, retail on these are $379.00.

Yes my pipe came with the DB insert. I ordered the Spark Arrester seperatelyand it is just the DB insert with a piece of screen tack welded over the "inside" end of the tube. I haven't done a comparrison with and without but I could probably do that. I think I coud get my hands on a cheap DB meter. I'll look into that.

OK. I've had an Akrapovic on order since mid-June and still no delivery. It was originally on backorder until 8/7 and now I'm told it's backordered until 9/23.

Maybe this is a blessing in disguise ($600 extra bucks in my savings account).

Question - Does the Leo Vince slip right on to the stock header or do I need to have something fabricated to make it work?

Word from KTMparts.com yesterday was that FMF has not started manufacturing their silencers yet. Is that correct?

I have an FMF on order, but I could cancel that if it is going to be a while for the FMF. The prices are close on the two mufflers.

I also am curious if the Leo bolts right on as well.

Yes the Leo Vince's bolt right on, they're designed to work with the stock header pipe. Also just like Akrapovic everything is dynoed before it's released.

Leo Vince is relatively new here in the states and not widely recognized yet. The company is geared towards being the best and it shows in their quality, thus far it's one of the best I've seen.

I called FMF this week and the guy I talked to seemed to have no clue when the T4Q"s for 690's are going to be avalible also ktmtwins website now shows them not avalible till 10/15. I just cancelled my order. Bojangles count me in on the leo vince group buy - my only worry is that they will be to loud, I would love to hear a video with the quiet insert installed if anyone has one

Count me in on the group buy too. After waiting over 2 months for the FMF I just cancelled my order. Like Greengoose I'm a little concerned about the noise level of the LV, but I'll go for it.

    - And my Renazco seat is scheduled for the last week in Sept! :clap
(Chris in WA is doing mine)

Now if my luggage brackets, extra rear wheel, and Rekluse would hurry up...:nod

Put on a set of Sicass LED rear signals a week ago , after one ride around the GoldNote OHV trails, they're not feeling so well. I hope the electrosport ones I just ordered hold up a little better!

I should probably start a thread in the vendors section to keep peace with the mods.

I'll contact Leo Vince tomorrow and find out the soonest we can get the pipes and see what we can do about pricing.

So far I have the following people interested,

    NorCalMo
    Dewtwo
    greengoose
    SteveMTB
    SnapCracklePop
    BigIron

    did I miss anyone?

I know this isn't a clutch thread but here's a response I received yesterday from Rekluse when asked when the 690E version would be available:

"We are working on these. They should be available mid Nov. Please keep
checking our website, as we will be sure to update it when they are
    ready to ship."

I'm out. I just bought a pipe from my local KTM dealer and the price was reasonable plus it included a re-map.
